Background study for an app that hopefully someday will be made. Picture this with a subtle parallax effect. Now that I’ve discovered Construct 2 I could actually set this up myself… at least the parallax, I dunno about a full-blown app.

Puppet parts! As yet, I haven’t started a marionette to fit this hand. Or, for that matter, a body to fit this head…

Professor ______. (Any suggestions for names? something Latin, perchance?)
He’s come a long way since the last two posts. I really had no plans on what sort of head I was going to do until I finished sculpting it. After painting it and finding that those glasses fit perfectly by some crazy fluke, the hair really couldn’t be anything other than what it is now. I really need to get some black string!

My in-progress marionette; my latest obsession. When he’s finished he should be about 20 inches tall. So far I’ve been tentative about sculpting the head and hands, for which I plan on using paperclay. Right now the pants are makeshift and temporary, the arms might be as well, and the leather will have to be situated right and then nailed… or something. I’ve learned a lot, but there’s still miles and miles yet to go.

Scruffy Cousin Rattus! My in-progress second attempt at a stuffed sock animal. I might have to rename this portfolio of mine: Mr Patch’s Arts & Crafts. Mr Patch’s Pictures & Stuff, or something similar. His legs are affixed with big black buttons, which allows some swivel action; two points of articulation, in action figure speak!
